Note(s): Hunted in NZ sector of Antarctic waters. Abundance uncertain. 2.9 m long calves stranded Lyall Bay & Otago heads. Most strandfings <4m long - smaller than weaning size. Largest identified specimen 7.7 m. (C. Duffy pers. comm.).
