This species has beenexperiencing a continuing decline in habitat extentand quality, through habitat degradation, andhuman disturbance. Generation length has beenestimated as two to three years based on data fromMacdonald (2004). A population decline of at least30% over the next ten years is expected, qualifying it as Vulnerable under Criterion A3c.The assessment remains unchanged following application of regional criteria as there is nosignifi cant immigration from adjacent countries.
