Assessment rationale/justification
Although this species appears to have a somewhat restricted distribution within the UAE, it is descried as common where it is found. In addition, its preferred habitat at high altitudes may help to reduce the intensity and number of threats that the species is subject to, due to these environments being difficult to access. Therefore, it is currently assessed as Least Concern.
