Occurrence of this species is doubtful in Bangladesh. However, Khan (2001, 2015) and Nameer (2009) mentioned the occurrence of this species from forests areas of the country without mentioning any locality and also without any scientific evidence. Sufficient information is not available to assess this species. Thus it is categorized as Data Deficient.
