Assessment rationale/justification
This species is rare but widespread in the Hajar Mountains and the Ru'us al-Jibal. It is considered to be rare or uncommon, but it is a short-lived annual that is easily overlooked (MEW 2010). It is considered Least Concern because, although known from a relatively small number of available records, it is suspected to have a wider distribution than shown.
