It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand and Viet Nam (Aplin et al. 2008). It has been recorded from Neweden, Mualpi, Munlai and Basatlang villages of Ruma, Bandarban (Chakma 2015).
